The lead singer of the Rolling Stones is Mick Jagger. His skinny body prances around on stage like a 16 year old and yet he is 76 years old. He has a massive amount of energy and is a true performer. The Rolling Stones are an English rock band formed in 1962. Keith Richards plays guitar in the band.
Recently there was a Sticky Fingers concert on Television. He sang songs such as “Wild Horses”, “Sway”, “Brown Sugar”, “Sweet Morphine” and much more. Sticky Fingers is the ninth British and eleventh American studio album by the Rolling Stones.
The song “Wild Horses” is one of my favorites. The lyrics are “Wild horses couldn’t drag me away. Wild wild horses couldn’t drag me away. I watched you suffer a dull aching pain. Now you’ve decided to show me the same, No sweeping exit or offstage lines, Could make me feel bitter or treat you unkind.” The song was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. I interpret this song to be about a romantic relationship.
Another song by The Rolling Stones is Angie sung by Mick Jagger. It is a song about Angela, David Bowie’s wife. David Bowie’s wife wrote an autobiography stating that the song is about her and was written because she saw David Bowie and Mick Jagger being sexual with eachother. Whether or not this is true one will never know. However, it is food for thought. It is said that Mick Jagger wrote the song for her to appease her so that she would not go public with the information. My thinking is what would be the motivation about creating such a rumor.
The lead singer of The Rolling Stones looks good for his age. His boundless energy is wildly entertaining. I really enjoy watching him on the stage.
